This is a popular, coastal walk to the most northerly point on Skye. A small section of the path is very steep and rocky and great care is needed.

From Duntulm Castle Hotel take the rough track which leads down to the sea. From here turn to the right. Once past the fences that run down from the hotel a faint path runs along the shore. Walk towards the large headland in the distance To your right, a few hundred metres from the shore stands the abandoned village of Erisco. At the bottom of the hill which forms the headland the path meets a fence with a stile in it, once over the stile follow the path uphill. The hill is bordered on one side by large cliffs that plunge down to the sea.
