| Query: | Dear Avon and Somerset Constabulary I have been following the 2015 General Election Expenses Investigation on http://www.isbuc.co.uk/expenses which has collected, collated and cross-referenced a large amount of publicly available data regarding what is popularly known as #ToryElectionFraud. Your police authority features on the site because Marcus Fysh MP (Yeovil), Luke Hall MP (Thornbury and Yate) & James Heappey MP (Wells) are part of your 'patch', so to speak. A number of sources suggest your organisation may have ongoing investigations but, with only a few weeks to go before the deadline expires, I have grown concerned at the ominous silence regarding your endeavours. I would appreciate it if you would help alleviate my, and many others, concerns and provide me with a brief outline of the current state of your researches. | Response: | Thank you for your email. This matter is still under investigation. The case is currently being reviewed by the Crown Prosecution Service, who will make a decision regarding whether there is enough evidence to support a prosecution.
